
It is a little story of a bright experience, on the footprints of the female shaman practitioners of Tohoku region. Halfway between a field diary – a traditional tool of cultural antropology – and sketchbook, this project has the ambition to lead you in an unknown Japan, less popular, less narrated, less public. Of course, this is a very personal experience, a very personal travel, that originates from my passions and fears; but in the course of more of a decade, I realized that these private feelings have resonated with the surrounding world, and with more people I ever imagined.
